Pulse Healthcare
Pulse Healthcare is a leading healthcare recruitment agency in the UK, providing high-quality temporary and permanent roles across the NHS and private sectors. I played a key design role during the company’s full rebrand, contributing to the development and rollout of a refreshed visual identity that elevated brand recognition and audience engagement.
Company Rebrand
As a core contributor to the rebranding process, I was responsible for managing the transition from the legacy brand to the newly developed identity. This involved auditing all existing marketing assets; including social media graphics, branded documents, flyers, posters, PowerPoint presentations and large-format designs – organising them into a detailed asset tracker.
Using the new brand guidelines, I redesigned and updated all key assets to reflect the new look and feel. The refreshed brand featured a stylised heartbeat icon, representing the Pulse identity, paired with a contemporary typographic system that combined serif and sans serif fonts. Bright, energetic colours and a clean visual style helped convey a modern and professional tone. This project required close collaboration with the wider marketing team to ensure consistency and meet tight rebrand deadlines.
Marketing & Social Media Assets
I produced a wide range of marketing materials, including infographics and social media assets aligned with campaign themes and awareness days, such as Mental Health Awareness Week. I also worked on NHS collaboration posts to ensure cohesive brand messaging across partners; including Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Corporate Documentation & Collateral
I developed complex, branded corporate documents that presented detailed service information in a digestible and engaging format. This included the use of diagrams, infographics and well-structured layouts to clearly communicate how Pulse supports healthcare professionals and clients alike.
In addition, I designed a full suite of new marketing collateral, including flyers, business cards, large-format backdrops, banners and event podiums.
Pulse Awards Branding
I also created the visual identity for the Pulse Awards, adapting the main brand logo to a softer, all-lowercase format with rounded edges. This bespoke version was used across various touchpoints, including social media assets, welcome postcards and large-format event materials.
